About
About this site
A digital home for a very local work — connecting a small congregation in Uruguay's interior with the wider church.
This website exists to introduce Paul and Jo Anna Harmon's church-planting ministry in Durazno, Uruguay, and to make it simple for people to join the work in a meaningful way. Here you can read the Harmons' story, learn about the interior of Uruguay and the spiritual need there, follow the methods and stories behind the ministry, and read the monthly prayer letters that report what God is doing on the ground. From every page, you can take a next step — praying specifically, giving financially, sending a short-term team, or exploring a call to serve alongside the Harmons long-term.
This site is for anyone who wants to be part of that story: current prayer partners who want fresh, specific requests each month; churches and individuals considering financial partnership through Baptist World Mission; pastors and mission teams weighing a trip to Durazno; and men and women sensing a call to church planting in Uruguay. Whether you've supported the Harmons for years or just found this page for the first time, the goal is the same — to give you an honest, current window into the work so you can partner with it well.
This site was built by Sebastian Basaldua of Luminary Craft Digital and is maintained by Sebastian and the Harmons. The Harmons keep the content — prayer requests, letters, and site details — up to date directly through a private admin page, so what you read here reflects the actual, current state of the ministry in Durazno.
